Before you start
- UE4SS 3.0.1 installed in the game's
Win64folder and launched once, soUE4SS.logexists. If not, do that first. - The game closed.
- Something that opens .rar files: 7-Zip (opens in a new tab) (free) or WinRAR (opens in a new tab). Recent versions of Windows 11 can also extract .rar files on their own.
Download the pack
One archive holds all three mods: SciroccoThugsModsv1.rar, 1.05 MB. Download it from this site or from my Google Drive mirror. Both are the same file.
Want proof the file is untouched? Run this in PowerShell in your Downloads folder, the same way as for UE4SS:
PowerShell
Get-FileHash .\SciroccoThugsModsv1.rar -Algorithm SHA256Expected SHA-256 of SciroccoThugsModsv1.rar (1,101,609 bytes)

The archive holds 13 files in 7 folders: one Mods folder with the three mods, plus a README for each mod.

UngodlySciroccoBeautifyFlares\enabled.txt | 0 bytes | Tells UE4SS to start this mod. Empty on purpose. |
UngodlySciroccoThugs\dlls\main.dll | 499,200 bytes | The mod itself. UE4SS loads it. |

UngodlySciroccoNeuralNav\enabled.txt | 0 bytes | Tells UE4SS to start this mod. Empty on purpose. |

Extract the archive
Right-click SciroccoThugsModsv1.rar in your Downloads folder and use whichever of these you have. On Windows 11, 7-Zip and WinRAR may sit under Show more options.
- 7-Zip: 7-Zip, then Extract to "SciroccoThugsModsv1\".
- WinRAR: Extract to SciroccoThugsModsv1\.
- Windows 11 on its own: Extract All, then Extract.
You now have a folder named SciroccoThugsModsv1 containing Mods and the three README files.
Copy Mods into Win64
- Open the extracted
SciroccoThugsModsv1folder. Click theModsfolder once to select it and press Ctrl + C. - Open the game's
Win64folder (the one withThugLyfe-Win64-Shipping.exeandUE4SS.dll) and press Ctrl + V. - Windows merges your new
Modsfolder into the one UE4SS made. On a first install nothing gets replaced, because none of these files exist yet. If Windows asks for administrator permission, click Continue.
Check the folder
Open Win64\Mods. The three Ungodly folders now sit next to UE4SS's built-in mods.

The quickest check is the full path of each mod's DLL. All three must exist exactly like this:
Where the three DLLs belong
Win64\Mods\UngodlySciroccoBeautifyFlares\dlls\main.dll
Win64\Mods\UngodlySciroccoNeuralNav\dlls\main.dll
Win64\Mods\UngodlySciroccoThugs\dlls\main.dllLaunch and confirm
In the game
- Start the game. A short hint appears top-left for a few seconds: that's Beautify + Sun Flares showing its menu key. Press F6 to open its menu, and F5 to flip every effect off and on.
- Load into a level with thugs and press F9. The NeuralNav menu opens; its Verification tab is the mod checking its own installation inside your game.
- Press F8 in-game. UngodlySciroccoThugs writes a live report to
UE4SS.log.
In UE4SS.log
Quit the game and open Win64\UE4SS.log with Notepad. Each mod writes lines with its own tag at the start. A healthy start includes:
| Who | Lines start with | Look for |
|---|---|---|
| UE4SS | Mod 'UngodlySciroccoBeautifyFlares' has enabled.txt, starting mod. and the same line for the other two mods. | |
| Beautify + Sun Flares | [UBSF] | swap-chain hooks installed, then game swap chain found and renderer ready on the game's D3D11 device. Stand still facing a wall for a second and depth cross-check: VERIFIED follows. |
| UngodlySciroccoThugs | [UngodlySciroccoThugs] | native relays (…): LIVE LIVE LIVE at start-up. Once you're in a level: Input events bound: 6/6. |
| UngodlySciroccoNeuralNav | [UngodlyNeuralNav] | config.ini: 62 settings read and overlay ready on DirectX 11. In a level with thugs: path memory layout self-test PASSED on 3 live paths. |
Where the settings live
Every line in each config.ini has a plain-English description, its default and its allowed range. Values outside a range are clamped. Delete a config.ini and its mod writes fresh defaults the next time the game starts.
| Mod | Settings file | How to change it |
|---|---|---|
| Ungodly Beautify + Sun Flares | Mods\UngodlySciroccoBeautifyFlares\config.ini, 79 settings | The F6 menu in game; changes save when you close it. Or Notepad while the game is closed. |
| UngodlySciroccoThugs | Mods\UngodlySciroccoThugs\config.ini, 35 settings | Notepad, while the game is closed. There is no in-game menu; F8 only prints the report. |
| UngodlySciroccoNeuralNav | Mods\UngodlySciroccoNeuralNav\config.ini, 62 settings | The F9 menu: changes apply instantly and Save settings writes them to the file. Or Notepad while the game is closed. |
Only some of the mods
The three mods are independent. To skip one, don't copy its folder. To switch one off later without deleting anything, delete its enabled.txt; put an empty text file with that name back to switch it on again.
Each mod also has its own off switch: Enabled = 0 in the config.ini of UngodlySciroccoThugs or NeuralNav, and F5 or EffectsEnabled = false for Beautify + Sun Flares.
Updating the pack
- Download and extract the new pack.
- Copy its
Modsfolder intoWin64again. Windows asks about files that already exist: choose Replace the files in the destination. - If a mod's settings changed in the new version, use its new
config.ini. A line such asconfig: unknown settingin the log means you kept an old one.
Uninstalling
Close the game and delete the three Ungodly… folders from Win64\Mods. UE4SS stays installed; to remove it too, follow Removing UE4SS.
Just want the thugs to forget everything they learned? Delete Mods\UngodlySciroccoNeuralNav\brain.unnb, or use F9, Neural Network, Reset brain.
